Dr. Bandelac has been responsible for my dental care since 2014. He fitted me with dental implants including the need for bi-lateral sinus lifts before starting the implant process. My experience with Dr. Bandelac has proven to be nothing but great. He is very attentive to the needs of his patients, as well as being extremely gentle when working on you. He is very thorough, and does not rush through your care. He will make sure that each phase of your care has been successfully completed and all necessary healing has taken place before moving to the next part of the procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend him to you if you are looking for quality dental care.

As an experienced and well seasoned General Dentist, Dr. George Bandelac works with a large variety of treatments for all ages pertaining to oral health concerns and common symptoms. Proactive and preventative care for everyone is paramount to like routine cleanings, and regularly scheduled appointments to preserve your current oral health and well being. Dr. George Bandelac also feels that regular cleanings as well as the removal of plaque, calculus and other bacteria are very important in the different stages of tooth and gum development. During this time, checking for initial cases of Caries, or “Cavities” on a routine basis, is crucial.
Sealants are also a common treatment to the secure dental bonding around the gums. Sealants are a type of resin that is placed on the biting surface of the teeth to prevent them from decay. The back teeth are usually difficult to clean and if not properly cleaned it can cause bacteria and food particles to accumulate in them, which could lead to cavities. Dr. George Bandelac states that by applying sealants on the surface of the teeth the grooves and depressions on the teeth can be sealed to prevent this from happening. Sealants are usually applied to molars, premolars and areas that are susceptible to cavities.
Another common scenario is Extractions that sometimes need to be performed by a General Dentist like Dr. George Bandelac, as a dulling pain and discomfort is only resolved by extraction.
Root Canal Therapy is the sound option and alternative to follow up with maintaining your perfect smile. Although Bridges are still a treatment to provide a full set of working teeth, replacement of the individual teeth can secure a natural looking jaw line and facial stability. After the Root canal treatment is completed a crown or cap is placed on top of the tooth to protect it from breaking and make it fully functional. In some cases it may be a better solution to extraction and usually lasts a lifetime.
To follow up with a standard and successfully solution, Dental Implants are often a solid option for artificial tooth replacements. A dental implant is a small, sturdy, titanium post that acts as the root structure would for a natural tooth. A dental implant is placed into your upper or lower jaw bone. After the bone has grown around the implant, implants can hold a crown, bridge or over-denture just like roots hold natural teeth in place. Implants are very durable and can last a lifetime.
As far as Porcelain Crowns, Dr. George Bandelac suggests that a crown is placed on top of a tooth to prevent it from breaking. Teeth that have large fillings are prone to cracking or breaking. A crown, especially if it has metal in it protects a tooth against breaking. Most common crowns utilize a metal lining covered with porcelain that do not appear as natural as light is not able to pass through them as it is through natural teeth. This results in a dark or grey line next to the gum line. Porcelain, all-ceramic non-metal crowns provide a more natural look resulting in a more natural, beautiful smile.
Dr. George Bandelac maintains that preventative routine care secures not only the future your oral health, but it provides the successful continuation of your beautiful smile!
